Supply Lists

Welcome to kindergarten at Forest Park! Here are some supplies that you’ll need.

The following items should be labeled with your child’s name:

• Backpack: big enough to hold a folder, a lunch box, sneakers, etc. (NO mini-sized backpacks)

• Change of clothes in a Ziploc bag

• Lunch box or bag

• Daily, peanut-free snack and beverage

• Clipboard

• Scissors (Fiskars® brand - rounded tip)

• Headphones- take out of package & put in a gallon sized baggie

  • wired, non-folding

  • plain solid colors with no designs, such as Marvel, Princess, unicorns

  • $10-15 range…sold at Target

• Standard plastic pencil box (no zippers)

The following items DO NOT need to be labeled. Please take everything out of the
packaging:

• (4) My First Ticonderoga brand pencils

• (2) PaperMate pink eraser

• (4) boxes of unscented, 24 pk Crayola® crayons

• (1) box of Crayola Broad Line Classic Markers (10 pk)

• (12) ELMERS glue sticks

• (1) Expo fine tip dry erase markers, 4 pk - black ONLY

• (2) 5-ounce containers of Play-Doh®

Shared Items:

• (1) package of Clorox wipes (Last names beginning with A-G)

• (1) box of tissues (Last names beginning with H-Z)

• (1) box of gallon size baggies (Last names beginning with A-G)

• (1) roll of paper towels (Last names beginning with H-Z)

School Supply List

Items to Be Unwrapped and Stored in Pencil Box

• 1 box of sharpened #2 pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)

• 4 small glue sticks (Elmer’s preferred)

• 2 Paper Mate Pink Pearl erasers

• 1 pack of 4 fine-point dry erase markers (Expo preferred)

• 1 yellow highlighter

• 1 hard plastic pencil box large enough to hold all supplies (no pouches)

Items to Remain in Original Packaging

• 2 boxes of 12-count washable markers (Crayola preferred)

• 2 boxes of 24-count crayons (Crayola preferred)

Other Required Items

• 1 backpack

• 2 plastic pocket folders

• 1 pair of wired headphones (no earbuds or Bluetooth)

• 2 large boxes of tissues

Optional Items

• 1 roll of paper towels

• 1 box of sandwich-size baggies or 1 box of gallon-size baggies

Second Grade School Supply List

Items to be Unwrapped and Stored in Pencil Box

• 24 sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)

• 3 large glue sticks

• 2 gel pens (any color except yellow)

• 1 package of cap erasers

• 1 large pink eraser

• 5 Expo dry erase markers (any color except yellow)

• 1 pair of scissors

• 1 pencil box large enough to hold all supplies (no pouches)

Items to Keep in Original Packaging

• 1 box of crayons (24-count or smaller)

• 1 box of colored pencils (12-count or smaller)

• 1 package of thin-tip washable markers (10-count or smaller)

Other Required Items

• 1 backpack (without wheels)

• 1 folder with horizontal pockets (any color or design except red)

• 1 pair of earbuds or headphones in a labeled Ziploc bag

Note: Wireless earbuds or headphones will not work with school Chromebooks.

Shared Classroom Supplies

• 1 box of tissues

• 1 package of 3" x 3" Post-it Notes

• Last names A–G: 1 box of sandwich-size bags

• Last names H–M: 1 pack of baby wipes

• Last names N–Z: 1 box of gallon-size bags

Third Grade School Supply List

• 4 durable pocket folders (green, purple, blue, and yellow)

• 3 dozen sharpened pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)

• 1 box of 24-count crayons

• 1 package of 8-count washable thin-tip markers

• 4 glue sticks

• 5 Expo dry-erase markers

• 1 highlighter

• 1 pair of scissors

• 1 large pencil box

• 1 pair of headphones (not wireless)

• 3 boxes of tissues

• 1 tub of Clorox wipes

Fourth Grade School Supply List

Please Note: This is a generic grade level supply list for all fourth grade students. There may be times throughout the school year that each individual teacher requests additional items.

• 1 single-subject composition notebook (any color or design)

• 3 plastic pocket folders (red, yellow, and blue)

• 1 heavy-duty pocket folder (any color or design)

• 1 colored pen (student's choice)

• 3 packages of 10 or more pre-sharpened pencils

• 1 highlighter

• 1 package of dry erase markers

• 1 package of multiplication flash cards (to be kept at home)

• 1 package of 24-count colored pencils

• 1 pair of scissors

• 6 glue sticks

• 1 package of pencil-top erasers

• 1 soft pencil pouch (no pencil boxes)

• 1 clipboard (flat top)

• 1 pair of headphones or earbuds (not wireless)

• 3 boxes of tissues

Supplies your child will need for September:

• 4 packages of purple glue sticks
• 2 boxes of 24 count crayons
• 2 boxes of washable magic markers (classic colors)
• 1 package of Expo dry erase markers
• 2 containers of sanitizing wipes
• 2 boxes of tissues
• 1 pair of metal, blunt-tip Fiskar scissors
• 1 pencil box (hard case) to store your child’s personal belongings
• 1 water bottle labeled with your child’s name on it
• 1 old t-shirt that can be used for a smock (for art activities)
• 1 box of sandwich size Ziploc bags
• 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags
• Spare change of clothes (underwear/pull-ups, socks, shirts, pants/shorts, etc.)
• Favorite fidget toy for pencil box
• Headphones for use of Chromebook (not bluetooth)
• 4 My First Ticonderoga Pencil
• 1 pack of thick crayola markers (STEM) 

If your child needs additional supplies, the list will be included in the placement letter which will be mailed home in August.
